On July 18, 2010 MVTTC members Bruce Holck and Brian Tripp traveled to Allentown, PA to compete in the 2 - Player Team Event presented by Lehigh Valley SportsFest XIV & The Allentown YMCA / YWCA.

They placed FIRST in the Class F group.  They played 4 matchups and won each.  Each matchup consisted of a best 3 out of 5 matches; 2 singles matches, a doubles match and 2 more singles matches as needed.  Each matchup went to 4 or 5, so Bruce and Brian played alot of close competitive games.  Congratulations!

Two members from MVTTC attended the 2010 Empire State Senior Games at SUNY Cortland in Cortland, NY.

Bruce Holck (Remsen) and his doubles partner Donald Young (Rochester) finished FIRST in the Mens Doubles 70-74 division.
Bruce also captured SECOND in the Mens Singles 70-74.

Gary Stottlar (Kirkland) and his doubles partner Bill Schlernitzauer (Sherburne) finished SECOND in the Mens Doubles 50-54 division.
Gary also achieved a THIRD place finish in the Mens Singles.

MVTTC sponsored a Dual Round Robin Tournament on Saturday, March 20, 2010.

23 Entrants played on five tables in the first round robin to establish their class for the second round robin. Many thanks to the players for participating and making the event a success. Special thanks to the club members who devoted their time in organizing, setting up, and breaking down the event.

MVTTC members Bruce Holck and Will Lombard participated in the Allentown Lehigh Valley Area Table Tennis Club's (ALVaTTc) Tenth Annual Holiday Classic. They competed in the 2-player 'team' event and Will also played in the Top Gun Singles event.

The two-player team event consists of two singles matches and one doubles match followed by one or
two singles matches as necessary. The first team to win three matches is the winner.

Bruce and Will placed 3rd in a group of 6 in Class F.
Will placed 2nd in the Class C top gun group.

MVTTC held a youth tournament on January 26, 2010. The club thanks the participants, their parents and volunteers for making the event possible. Congratulations to the winners.

MVTTC sponsored a Double Round Robin Tournament on Saturday, May 2, 2009. Entrants played on five tables in the first round to establish rank for second round table placement. Many thanks to the players for participating and making the event a success. MVTTC sponsored a Youth Tournament on Saturday, January 3, 2009. Entrants played in four age groups. Congratulations to the following winners:

In February 2008, some MVTTC players travelled to Troy, NY to participate in an open tournament. Players were split into two groups -- class A above 1400 rating and class B below. Here are the MVTTC placings:

Dr. Ning Cheng Lee took 1st place in the class B event, and Joe Meyer was 3rd. In class A, Bruce Holck finished 2nd to 11 year old phenom Thomas Glozman. Thomas is ranked 12th in the US for boys under 12.

MVTTC hosted a local invitational round robin tournament on Saturday, January 26, 2008.

Play was split into two sets of round robins. In the first set of round robins the 20 players were scheduled into 4 round robins of 5 players each. After completing the rounds the players were separated into 5 groups of 4 based their placement. The groups played out their round robins for final results:
